If we compare last year with the same period, we note that their numbers have increased.
In 2016, for 6 months, 50 people died in these fatal accidents, and 54 people died during the months of 2017.
One cause of death in communications is overcoming speed from keeping track of distance and uncertain vehicle maneuvers.
Kosovo police have appealed participants in traffic to be vigilant and to respect rule of law and traffic.
Considering that especially during these summer season months, we have the largest flow of vehicles, and people's circulation is more intense appeal to all traffic participants in particular drivers, to be alert and to respect the rules that come out of traffic law; to stick to the speed set by traffic signs, to avoid being driven out of sleep, not to direct the vehicle under the influence of alcohol, and not to use telephones from cars because by such actions they are contributing to the increase in human accidents, and to the reports.
In addition to the most fatal accidents, injuries have increased this year.
While there were 2781 in January-June last year, 2828 injuries occurred in 2017.
However, the number of accidents has declined. Since 885 took place last year, 212 fewer accidents occurred this year.
On the other hand, the number of dried tickets has increased.

In the past year for six months, 161006 tickets were pronounced, this year 183729 tickets for violations of traffic regulations.
