After they transferred Kyle Walker for 50 million pounds, Citt got another hit.
Monaco's left defense, Benjamin Mendy, is City's main target for this transitional deadline.
French media have reported that the English team has already made official offers for Mendy.
Pep Guardila's team has offered 35 million pounds for the French transfer to Etihad Stadium.
The 23-year-old is expected to sign a five-year contract, where he will earn about four million pounds in the winter.
We remember that Mendy joined Monaco last year from Olympique Marseille for 13m euros.
