The beauty of Italian films has recently been condemned by the Court of Appeals in Trieste to six months in prison and 500 euros in fines.
Charges were made against her following the annulment of a predicted performance to be held at the Verdi Theatre in Pordenone (Italy), claiming to be ill enough to get on the stage.
But this fraud has been discovered immediately after the famous Italian actress appeared on the same night at a charity evening in St. Petersburg, Russia, which was organised by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
After verifying the facts, the Court of Appeals accused the actress of fraud. And he made the decision to punish her.
The event he is accused of took place on December 10th 2010, where Ornella Muti presented a medical report not to participate in the show while traveling to Russia to attend Putin's charity evening, the Eye reports.
While there's also a relief measure to avoid prison. The sentence on the actress is cancelled unless it pays theatre 30 thousand euros.
