The demarcation with Montenegro will be the hottest point facing Kosovo's next prime minister.

Online Economy Sources Within the Coalition PAN suggests that among the first things to do Ramush Haradinaj as prime minister is the dismissal of the State Commission for the appointment of the border line with Montenegro, at the helm with Murat Meha.

While, according to these sources, the Commission will lead geography professor and former deputy from the LDK ranks, Speed Bulqi, who will carry the main burden along with some international experts for marking the border line with Montenegro.

And this PAN idea has welcomed Bulqi, who in an interview for Online Economics, has said that even though he has not received an invitation or such proposal, he is willing to make his professional contribution to resolving the demarcation issue, which he highly values with concern.

If the future government thinks it needs our experience and our work, we, of course, together with a team will be willing to attach that commission and help to overcome all these challenges and problems which are”.

He has also confirmed that the problem of the demarcation agreement will continue with the new government.

But he has offered solutions, saying meeting with the Montenegrin side is inevitable.

“We have given many times our opinion about how this problem should be solved and the first work the new government to do will be formed to arrange direct contacts with the Montenegrin side in order to reduce and discuss the concessions that have taken place in terms of the demarcation process. We hope the Montenegrin side has the understanding that we have understanding because we have good relations with Montenegro”, Bulliqi has said.

Former MP Bulqi has added that if the deal did not return, which existed after the democratisation of 1946, then this agreement should be sent to international arbitration.

Let's sit down and talk about the changes that need to be made and actually the border line back to the border line that existed after the first deregulation of 1946 in the event there is no such compromise on the Montenegrin side then the last solution remains in international arbitration”.

Bulliqi has said that besides demarcation, the future government will face another major problem, which is the association of Serbian municipalities.
