How many books do you read in a year? One month, 10, 15, 25, 50? According to a 2013 study by “Pew Research Center”, an average American reads 5 books a year. That doesn't look like much, but people are busy.
Do you know who's very busy? Bill Gates, Microsoft cofounder and the richest man in the world. But reading is extremely important to him.
In an interview for the New York Times”, he showed how much the books affect him. He even created a blog, Gates Notes, in which he publishes book reviews.
Gates claims he reads 50 books a year. In his blog you can find very good recommendations for books, but he prefers books that “Prekin on the subject of how things work”.
If you read 50 books a year, then very well! That's pretty impressive! Just go ahead and maybe you can become as successful as Bill Gates.
