Indexline has sent questions to the AKK to understand what will happen to officials who have refused to publicise their property, while in the answers he has received reportedly criminal charges will be presented at prosecutors competent to the public official who violates the law.
“We are announcing that all senior officials who have not declared their property and who have no legal grounds for their failure to perform this legal obligation, the Agency in consultation and co-ordination with the relevant prosecutors will submit criminal statements to the prosecution competent to the senior public official who violates the pre-law's statements of property and constitutes criminal acts under the Kosovo republic's penal code, the AKK's response to the portal.
Meanwhile, 4421 officials have declared wealth. 47 officials have declared property after the deadline, 3 have not declared property with reason, and 27 have not declared it so far.
