Federal prosecutors in Germany have said the person charged with the stab attack on a market in Hamburg has had radical “ysmist <x0).
One person has died in this attack and six others have been injured.
The attack seems to have signs of radical Islam. According to the ongoing investigation, the accused was self-registered”, prosecutors have said through a statement.
They have added that they have no records, if the suspect, identified as Ahmad A., was a member of the militant group, the Islamic State, or any other terrorist organisation.
The suspect, a Palestinian born in the United Emirates, had failed to win asylum in Germany.
German authorities have said the suspect has shown signs of radicalism before the launch of the attack.
However, Hamburg's Interior Minister said on July 29th that he was not known as a dangerous person.
