Albania's Albanians prefer holidays in Greece, Turkey, Kosovo's in Albania

Likewise, tourist agencies have already started with promoting different destinations, from luxury to simple ones. Representatives of tourist agencies from Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo for Anadolu Agency (AA) explain that the majority of citizens seek the All-Inclusive Agenda, while the smaller part ask to be accommodated in private apartments.

Greece, Turkey continue to remain Albanian favourite destinations

Albania's citizens continue to hold as favorite tourist destinations Turkey, Greece, as well as various tourist spots in the region, in Macedonia or Montenegro.

Greece is very popular, for family members who drive their vehicles. Most also go to Turkey, where everything has been organised since plane travel, charter trips and prices are best”, says Nerada Spaho, of the tourist agency Amara Travel.

On the other hand, she adds that the most popular destination for Albanians within the country is south of Albania, namely Saranda. “Saranda is very wanted, by all. Strygini is also preferred to Lezha, but more so than the south domino”, Spaho says.

Local tourists in Albania have begun organizing tourist tours, especially in terms of mountain tourism in Valbonne, Theth, northern Albania.

Macedonian citizens prefer Greece, then Albania, Turkey

The chairman of the Tourist-Hotilical Odays League of Economic Odays of Macedonia, Arkan Kerim, points out that traditionally, for years, Macedonia's favourite summer holiday destination is Greece, then Albania and Turkey follow. This year “has interest in other Adriatic destinations, such as Montenegro, Croatia and Bulgaria”, Kerim says.

He explains that prices vary according to the dates when it is set to visit tourist destinations, at first, in mid or late summer season. In this context, prices for deployment in apartments, Kerim says, range from 50 to 250 euros in Greece, while chartered in Antalya prices range from 250 euros and higher.

Kerim emphasises that in recent years Macedonian citizens express interest in spending summer holidays on Albania's beaches. There is great interest for Albania because it is still a beautiful place to investigate and promote itself. Prices are affordable, and guests regularly go”, Kerim says.

Regarding the tourist destinations within Macedonia's state, Kerim says lakes resorts, such as Ohrid, Struga and Dojran, citizens prefer them as an alternative to shorter time stays or for weekends.

The head of Macedonia's Tourist-Hotilical Oda, referring to foreign tourists in Macedonia, stresses that the interest to visit this country is always on the rise, because, as he says, reasonable prices. He expresses confidence that Macedonia has a good gastronomial, beautiful nature and interesting cities.

Kosovo tourists' favourite design continues to be Albania's, then Montenegro's, Turkey's

The favourite design of Kosovo tourists continues to be Albania's coastline, especially the southern part of Vlora and Saranda. Meanwhile, Montenegro, Ulcinj, as well as Turkey's coastline, Antalya and Bodrum, respectively, are the other countries most frequented by Kosovars.

The chairman of the Alternative Tourism Association in Kosovo, Bucky Hoti, announced this in a statement for AA.

Hoti announced there is another influx of citizens who are visiting Macedonia, primarily Skopje, Struga and Gostivar.

According to him, Kosovo's economic situation is not so favourable that they go to luxury packages. As for Hoti awards, says Albania has also enabled tax cuts, and that Macedonia as a result of state subsidies is bringing favourable offers to Kosovo visitors.

Meanwhile, according to him, Turkey's share is bringing in numerous bids for Kosovars, who are then choosing according to demand and the budget situation. Hoti added that Kosovo during the summer season is being visited by a large influx of diaspora visiting the various cities and natural beautys and historical monuments of this country. /AAA
