A large number of fires have occurred in Shkodra, Debar, Berat, Tirana, Durres, Fier, Vlora and Gjirokastra.
According to the Civil Emergency Directorate, fires are hard to control, as they are favoured by high temperatures across the country.
A large fire has swept through an area of vegetation and forests in the neighborhood \”15 September\18x1>, Tepelene.
The situation is alarming, as fire risks affecting nearby private homes.
The fire forces and residents of the area are engaged and working to bring the fire under control and not allow its advancement.
It is predicted that during the weekend temperatures in Albania will reach 40 degrees.
