Vetevendosje Delegation Continues Europarliamentary Meetings in Brussels

The delegation of Vetevendosje Movement consisting of Chairman Visar Ymeri, Prime Ministerial candidate Albin Kurti and Pristina Chairman Shpend Ahmeti continued formal meetings in Brussels today. They met with Victor Bostinaru, deputy chairman of the Alliance of Socialists and Democrats' Progress in the European Parliament, Sandra Kalnieste, the deputy chairman of the EPP Group in the European Parliament and Edward Kukan, Eurodeputs, rapporteur for Albania and deputy rapporteur for Macedonia in the European Parliament.
“At these meetings were discussed political developments in Kosovo following the June 11th elections and the founding of the government of the Republic of Kosovo. Europeans took an interest in the prosperity of the elections and congratulated Vetevendosje on the outcome. The focus of the discussion was also the ruling priorities of the Vetevendosje Movement, which ensures a sustainable economic development focused on production that creates new jobs and policies that protect workers, ease inequality and increase social cohesion. Especially was the need to create mechanisms that functional the judiciary and rule of the law against organised crime and corruption”, said a media report sent by the Vetevendosje Movement.
