Pantina: Differences with LDK are not that big

Vetevendosje Movement has already invited LDK, as well as deputies from coalition PDK-AAK-Nisma (PAN) to join them for forming the government that would send the PDK to the opposition after 17 years. Albanian Pantina by the Vetevendosje Movement, for which the media reported that it has won enough votes to become an MP again, has said there are some issues that the LDK and VV have compatibility, but to achieve the full harmonisation of party programmes should create a group of experts from the two parties.
The former Pantina delegation said the change could only be ensured by the PDK's eventually moving to the opposition.
“Vetevendosje Movement listed the first political party in the country, as well as candidate for prime minister Albin Kurti. We have called on the LAA coalition that is led by the LDK to sit down and talk on the only condition that we fulfill the will of the citizens to enable the change they are seeking and to send down The opposition PDK”, Pantina said.
She has said the differences between the two respective parties are not so big.
During the campaign we've presented 40 priorities of our government programme, which is, of course, much broader than that. There are some issues we already have the same approach to LDK, but of course there are also issues about which we have differences. I think a team of experts must be formed that consists of both LV and LAA subjects to determine the priorities of the future government and harmonise our programmes. I think that's reachable because differences are not too big”, she has said, adding that in the end it is the institution of the Parliament that will vote on it.
Recalling the completely opposing views that the LDK and Vetevendosje have for the Demarketation Agreement with Montenegro, Pantina says the Parliament will decide on that.
The Parliament will eventually be the one who by vote will adopt such a programme and even there can be room for completion by MPs as it will decide on many other issues that have not been resolved by the previous government”, she said of the Metro Journal.
During yesterday's day, willingness to talk with Vetevendosje has been expressed by LDK Deputy Chairman Haki Rugova for the newspaper Metro.
Given the unofficial list of 32 deputies secured by the Vetevendosje Movement, Pantina has managed to secure it and a mandate of the MP in the sixth Kosovo Assembly legislature.
