Following German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Italy's Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni congratulated Edi Rama and the SP on the victory in parliamentary elections.

The Italian prime minister names the SP's majority-deserved victory, saying the Socialists proved to be a particular example.
