The meeting discussed international achievements Kosovo's sport has scored in recent years, as well as the acceptance of many local sports federations in international sports federations.

The head of the Parliament, Veselin, thanked President Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah for accepting the Kosovo Olympic Committee to the International Olympic Committee and the Association of National Olympic Committees, as well as for continuing support in the affirmation of Kosovo's sports.

According to a Parliament communique, Wessel stressed that Kosovo has many talented young people in different sports, who are showing peak results every day.

Wessel said sports in Kosovo still have challenges, in particular in infrastructure. However, he stressed the dedication of institutions for investments in this area, construction and renovations of stadiums and sports gyms, as well as the procedures for the construction of the Nacional Stadium.

“We as the Parliament will support KOK and the Kosovo sport. The budget for 2018 has increased investments. With legal infrastructure we've worked hard, in particular I stress the Law for Sponsorization”, Deputy Prime Minister Wessel stressed. He voiced confidence that the support of the National Olympic Committees Association for the Sports of Kosovo will continue, since, as he said, Kosovo has numerous talents in sports, which can give a lot of international sports.

President of the International Association of National Olympic Committees Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah expressed his satisfaction with Kosovo's achievements in the international arena, while confirming the continuation of support in the future.
