Serbia's president sees participation in the climate summit as an opportunity to meet with the French president, who is at the moment one of the two most important political figures in Europe and influential in the world.
In addition to supporting the European road and boosting economic relations, France can have an impact on preserving peace and stability in the region, reports “b92”, Periscopi broadcasts.
“Stability and peace would be much easier to maintain if we had the support of powerful France today, which has a growing impact on Europe and the world. President Macron enjoys a great personal reputation in all Meridians,” said Vuciq.
He stresses, however, that if Serbia were to declare sanctions to Russia and at the same time recognise Kosovo as an independent state, it would be <x0); a champion in protecting national minority rights on the same day and prosper efficiently and independently from the judiciary”.
The climate summit begins with a solemn reception at the Elyse Palace. There, French President Emmanuel Macron will host more than 100 world leaders, including Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq.
After that, several panels will discuss several agreements signed in Paris two years ago where the next steps to prevent climate change and global warming will be considered. /Periscopi/
