So has Democracy in Action, which through mobile teams has continued to monitor the revote process in the Istog Community.
In some of the locations, our observers have reported assistance to up to 20% of the total number of voters who have voted in those locations. In other polls, the leaders of the Local Councils are recording assisting in the Book of Votes, but that this high figure is of concern to us, especially when young voters seek assistance, so the State Prosecutor would have to verify whether these cases are related to criminal work in violation of the free voter definition”, the communique said.
According to DnV, at the 606C/04R polling site in the village of Vrellell, the woman has shown her husband complete ballot after the same had initially stated that his wife needs voting assistance, but was not allowed because she did not have her identification document.
DnV points out that in three cases, it has observed vote with identification documents that are not provided with the General Election Law, such as birth certificates that have no photographs of voters. The most eloquent case, according to DnV, is at the 0623C polling centre in Cerkolez, where a voter is allowed to vote with the former Yugoslavia's passport.
“At Location 0608C/02D, a case of open voting has been recorded in the village of Rakos. At the polling centre 0617C/01R, a voter in the village of Turbuhovc has openly shown his preference. Similar cases have occurred in the village of Banja, Pec, at the 0602C/04R deployment. At the same location, an observer performed the job of a finger - spray official. At the polling centre 0621C, in the village of Caliqan, checking with an ultra violin lamp, it is not being done regularly in all cases by controlling only one hand”, the communique is said next.
DnV invites all citizens to participate in elections and decide for four-year governance in Istog.
In the race for first Istog are Haki Rugova from LDK and Gani Dresey from the AAK ranks. Revote in this municipality is due to irregularities in the runoff race.
