A new study shows that tea can reduce glaucoma's disease in humans, a condition that affects pressure within the eye, including loss of sight.
Experts have said that research does not show that it protects you entirely, but believe anti-oxidants and anti-inflammers found in tea affect the chances of developing the disease.
Glaucoma is said to affect some 57.5 million people worldwide, caused by the pressure of fluids leading to damage to optic nerve, which reaches blindness.
This disease can affect any age, including babies and young children, so it suggests that the danger can be prevented if people consume more than six cups of tea a week.
