Repentance for killing a friend: I wish I were in his place.

The Constitutional Court in Pristina has assigned the 30-day move to 18-year-old detention to US initials, suspected of killing his friend, 17-year-old L.P. Saturday evening in Pristina.

In his statement given at today's session that was closed to the public, the suspect with the initial L. P, has expressed deep regret over the case.

“I say that I apologize to the now deceased family and point out that if I could return the time I would like to be in his position”, it's the words with which he started his statement.

He has also told of the close friendship the deceased now had until before the critical day.

I now know the deceased from the evening and have been friends ever since. We've always had good reports among ourselves as the day before the case I slept with him and we've always stayed together”, he went on.

According to him, the event started at a local in Pristina, when they even started arguing.

The day we came to Pristina, we went to the bar and we started swearing and we started beating while he was threatening me, and then I lost consciousness and went to tell his mother. I met him and he started hitting me and he pulled out the knife to attack me so I grabbed his knife and to protect him, he said L.P.

While his lawyer, Veton Rrecaj, said in the statement issued at the courtroom that his defense during the critical event was attacked by a knife and the moment the victim tried to stab him, he remembered that he managed to take the knife.

And you don't remember what happened until then, the lawyer said.

After the hearing, the judge of the preliminary procedure because of the cited evidence has analysed that there is a suspicion that on the critical night in Pristina, exactly on Gustav Mayer Street, the suspect has now deprived the deceased U.S.P. of life.

“Around 18:30 minutes, because of the occasional disagreement, while they were sitting together in a bar in Dardania County, they were fought and then they went out of the bar and they attacked each other physically with their fists, then the deceased now went to his uncle's side on Gustav Mayer Street, and after a few moments, after the defendant had known where the deceased was found, he went and called out and just now came out and the late, the defendant stabbed two times in the region of the country, the court was told by KXO.

The 17-year-old died in QKUK as a result of stab wounds.
