Lulaj: Two ultrasound tests are sufficient in pregnancy

Paddy, gynecologist and other health professionals have gathered today in a Symposium organised by the Association of the Paddys and the Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Kosovo.

Symposium for “The pre-ental scribesting of heart abnormalities in Kosovo” is opened by gynecologist Shefqet Lolaj.

Dr. Lulaj has legalised on the ultrasound of obstetrics, where she has explained procedures to be followed by recent research, as well as abuses by gynecologists in Kosovo.

The doctor said that it should be suggested to patients that diagnostic ultrasound has no negative effect on its mother's body and on its fruit. According to a study in the United States, Lulaj says that two ultrasound tests are sufficient in pregnancy.

“From a large study RADIUS, made in a large group of low risk pregnant women, has tested the efficiency of ecographic examination and in personal conclusions, turns out that in this group of pregnant women, 2 ecographer activisms --”, gynecologist Lulaj has declared. According to this study, the two criteria are recommended to take place between 15-22 and 31-35 weeks.

But not everyone respects this recommendation from US research. According to Lulajt, the ecographing is misused by gynecologists in Kosovo.
