Who was Prof. Dr. Dawn Hallow
Prof. Dr. Agim Salac was a senior chief of the Oncology Department in the QSUT, treating thousands of cancer patients.
Dr. Agim Salaku, Prof.Asc, was born in Tirana in 1956. Eight-year-old and high-school school was attended in this city where it graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, as a general physician, in 1981.
In December of the same year, he was appointed a physician at the Radio therapy department at the Oncology Service. Professional formation has followed through with postgraduate studies by attaching and protecting foreign languages to time requirements.
In 1990 he took over as chief of the Radio therapy Department, and from 1992 onward, he has performed a number of specialization courses in the field of oncological radio therapy in various countries.
Prof. Asc. Agim Salad holds the Doctor of Sciences degree from 1997 and the title Professor of Aciciated (2009) and then the title professor.
His contribution is known in leaving Albanian medical literature as author and coauthor of many books and textbooks in the field of oncology for students, postgraduates and doctors, as well as many scientific articles in local and foreign journals or references in the country and abroad.
Prof. Dr. Agim Salac has been decorated with the Certificate of Gratitude by the Ministry of Health for the 100-Vetories of Independence and as one of the most active figures in the Albanian oncology field under his supervision are organised over 40 Scientific Conferences.
