At an emergency meeting, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina government made the decision to send 50 tonnes of grain, out of these 25 tons of corn and 25 tons of wheat, from its reserves to come to the aid of Albanian authorities as part of international aid in coping with floods affecting Albania earlier this month.
The Federal Civil Protection Administration is in charge of transporting this humanitarian aid, while the government will cover transportation expenses, the KP reports.
Meanwhile, the Federal Finance Ministry, the Federal State Reserve Department and the Federal Civil Protection Administration are responsible for implementing this decision.
In early December, torrential rains caused floods in southern and central Albania.
