Man United had trouble replacing Peter Schmeichelin and Ferguson had contacted Olli Kahn in 2003, broadcasting Periscope.
“Sir Alex Ferguson is still nervous with me”, Kahn told the German newspaper Bild.
He thought I'd be transferred to the united in 2003 or 2004, but I was more interested in staying in Bayern. When I look back, I think I should've moved because it would've been a good challenge for me”, the German ended up.
