The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) will address the Constitutional Court, as the Supreme Court rejected this party's complaint in the case of revote for Istog municipality chairman.
For the AAK, it is evident that everything else has been addressed in complaints, whether by PZAP or the Supreme Court, but not just facts. The constitution of the Republic of Kosovo clearly says Article 45 [Cirtizen Rights and Turnout] every citizen of the Republic of Kosovo who has reached eighteen, even on Election Day, enjoys the right to choose and be elected, except when this right is limited to judicial decision, it is said in response.
The AAK considers that the truth is that, in the latest election process for Istog Mayor, new voters who have met the age to vote have voted, this is the constitutional right of each citizen of the Republic, but their vote has been eliminated by the CEC and confirmed by PZAP and the Court.
The fact that there are voters who have voted for the first time is also accepted by the CEC, the PZAP and the Supreme Court, but surprisingly have decided to be above the country's Constitution and determine who has the right to vote or who does not.
The AAK will address the Constitutional Court in request to issue its ruling in defence of the Constitution and the rights of Kosovo citizens”, said in response.
