More than 100 immigrants live in the Sobor area in northern Serbia, is said by France-based organisations.
Immigrants have said they want to seek help in camps offered by the state but fear they can leave the country, as they plan to continue their journey to Western European countries.
The Serbian refugee commissioner, who is responsible for the care of refugees and immigrants, considers there is enough room for those who appear at the asylum centres in Serbia.
According to official data at these centres currently reside in 4,150 people.
