With the aim of sensibility of drivers and citizens who move on the streets, we announce that within the 6th month period (15 November-15 March, each driver is legally obliged to carry winter equipment so that they can adapt to the road conditions for safe driving.
The Kosovar Motorisation Association(AMRKS) through information brochures alerts drivers of small vehicles, but also those carriers regarding winter arrangements and preparations.
The Law on Road Traffic Rules (r. 05l-088, clearly determines driving conditions during this period, where vehicle flow and the community of vehicles have not been placed in winter equipment when the road is covered with snow or when there is ice on the road.
Under the law drivers who run their tools without winter equipment will be punished for a fine of 40 (40) euros, while law-quality drivers or public institution in whose name and within the authorisations the designated person has acted will be punished for fines of 100 (100) to three hundred euros (300).
During the winter period and reduced visibility each driver in his vehicle must have two white lights on the front of the vehicle and two red lights on the back of the vehicle, as well as an orange - colored reflectant signal on each side, on the contrary, will be punished for the fine of 30 euros.
