US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has congratulated Albanians on the 105th anniversary of Independence.
“Albania is a precious friend and ally country, and the United States is pleased to welcome your continued progress towards greater Euro-Atlantic integration and EU membership”, writes Tillerson.
US Secretary of State says US deeply appreciates Albania's contributions to NATO, the Coalition for Overcoming I SIS, as well as promoting stability in the Balkan region.
We commend Albania's government for its continued efforts to implement key reforms, including justice reform, the fight against corruption, as well as the fight against organised crime. These are important steps to ensure a more secure and prosperous future for your people”, American Secretary of State Tillerson wrote.
