Mustafa had lost the race to Shpend Ahmeti in the 2013 Local Elections and one of the biggest public criticisms directed at him, in addition to the statement that he won the “hand-to-hand race in the pocket of” was also his refusal to face television debates with anti-Candidate Ahmeti.
Isa Mustafa's refusal to face television debates with Ahmeti had continued throughout the campaign until Mustafa and Ahmeti had gone to the runoff.
And when the runoff had arrived on November 8, 2013, Mustafa took a duel with Ahmet on public television. He was the only duel.
But such a duel, with Ahmeti, the new LDK candidate for Pristina chairman, Arba Abashi has yet to accept it.
Ahmeti has so far said he has confirmed four debates face-to-face with Arba Abrasin, but two have cancelled Abrashi himself, initially arguing that he has problems with teeth and had an intervention.
Recently, on Wednesday evening, Abrashi did not go to Dukaagjini television, where he was invited to attend on November 1st. Abrashi said he will participate in three other debates, but not in confrontation with Ahmeti.
Disparting in TV confrontations with anti-Candidat Ahmeti has caused much debate on social networks, commenting on this refusal as an escape from the confrontation. /Insider
