A Catholic school in Adelaide, Australia, has recently discovered a new statue, but many have noticed something provocative in its design.
Established at the Blackfried Priest's School, the sculpture shows a priest handing over an object that seems to have come out of his clothes, in the hand of a child, reports “Sputnik International” Transmission Periscope.

Photos of the monument have been ironic through various forms in social media. Happy Internet users noted that the mysterious thing man passed on to the boy looked more like a male genius organ.
As later explained in a Facebook publication, the sculpture created in Vietnam describes St. Martin de Porres, who lived in the 16th century in Peru, where he was committed to the poor, and had built an orphanage of children in a hospital. The monument was actually showing him by spending a loaf of bread for a little boy.

“Dial two-dimensional concepts for the statue were reviewed and approved by the executive team in May, but after arrival, the three-dimensional statue was considered by the executive to be potentially suggestive,” wrote Simon Cobiac.
The school administration apologized for any concerns and covered it with a black rag. Now, another sculptor will be authorized to re-send it. /Periscopi/
