He never hesitates to impress us with various facts, and recently he has shown some information that will encourage you to think twice about your safety, Tarnsmetho Telegrafi.
Snowden's been living in Russia for years and years and cannot return to the U.S. because he's been in prison because he had discovered top-secret information about how the National Security Agency (NSA) conducted different monitoring activities in 2013.
For years he has shown how various agencies and governments worldwide use a secret method of accessing smart phones. This, according to him, can be done only through a message.
Snowden has told the BBC that the owners of smart phones can do almost nothing to prevent this. Even when your phone is off, they can turn it on; your conversations can be bugged; your photos are not safe, etc.
The technology that enables this is known as "Smurf," and there are different types of this method.
I can make your cell phone turn on and stop without you even knowing it.
