That statement he said during a conference held today in Belgrade, after meeting with Serbia's Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, Serbian media write.
I'm surprised at the situation regarding Kosovo. I haven't really seen any documents talking about recognition of Kosovo”, Sissoco said.
The news of Kosovo's recognition by Guinea Bissau in 2011 had been delivered by AKR chairman, currently Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Behgjet Pacolli.
This country even figures on the official list of states that have recognised Kosovo, published by the MPJ.
Regarding Prime Minister Sissoco's statement, Minister of Foreign Affairs Behgjet Pacolli has said that Prime Minister Sissoco is not aware of this.
“Nojah happened six years ago, and verbal notes are in the Kosovo Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This prime minister is new and is not informed”, Pacolli has said.
Guinea Bisao was the 74th state to have recognised Kosovo's independence on January 10th 2011.
