Morocco qualified for the World “Russia 2018-1>, after victory over Ivory Coast with a clean score of 2-0. After the qualifications, the Moroccans have taken to the streets of Paris and celebrated as crazy but without causing trouble.
The opposite has occurred in Brussels, where, during celebrations, the Moroccans have clashed with Belgian police. There have been about 22 police officers damaged, as well as several cars burned.
Several dozen Moroccans were also injured in the conflict. This was Morocco's first World qualifying in the last 20 years.
