Kosovo National Sports Selector Brad Greenberg could exploit two naturalised basketball players, Americans Shawn Jones of Scott Bamforth, in two first round preliminary matches for the world “Kina 2019”.
On November 24th, in Pristina it will play against Lithuania, while two days later in Debrecen it will face Hungary, Koha Ditore reports.
Jones can play one, and Bamforth to the other, as only a natural stranger can be part of the team in one match.
The matches belong to Group C, also made up by Poland's representative.
The Jones Center and the Kommeker Bamforth are the most distinguished players in the Italian team Banco di Sardegna. They will join Kosovo in preparations starting 20 November in Pristina.
