“Picla Italy” is the favorite restaurant of some of the German Bundesliga stars, while what makes this restaurant special for us is the fact that its owner is a Kosovar. It's Bekim Kotor, whose success story you can read on the story that exclusively brings the Express.
Bekim Kotor comes from the village of Samadridge of the Suhareka municipality. He has been living in Leipzig for years, a town east of the German state of Saxony.
I have a restaurant with Italian kitchen. We've been working since January 2011. Our guests were originally political class and businessmen, but recently it's the favourite place for footballers”, Kotor told Gazeta Express.
Kotor's restaurant is especially visited by the Bungesliga team players, such as RB Leipzig and FC Augsburg, during their spare time.
Naby Keita, who shone last season for RB Leipzig, whose team concluded the season as Germany's vice champion, has been a constant guest of Kotor's restaurant. Keita has signed agreements with Liverpool for 55m euros in August, but will join the English only next summer.

He says the players already know that their restaurant is owned by an Albanian.
Kotor, on the right, shows that the star of Germany's National and Bayern Munich, Joshua Kimmitch, is among the visitors to his restaurant. The most frequent visitor, however, is Timo Werner, the German talent of RB Leipzig, which is one of the most controversial players in the recent deadlines, and is linked to a possible transition to the English team, Liverpool.

“Timo Werner is our most regular guest, he doesn't take weeks without coming [to eat]”, Kotor stressed.
What do footballers eat?
Football is a dynamic and powerful sport, so professional players must be without fat and athletics. Of course, they eat clean food and balance it with a healthy mixture of vegetables, proteins, and carbs.
Kotor discovers that German league players pick a lot of food and that he has a cook hired to cook for them in particular.
“Players select food very much. We've got a cook who cooks only for them”, he added.
