Bosniak presidency member Bakir Izetbegovic has expressed disappointment with Sandzak's position, and claims Bosnia and Herzegovina will recognise Kosovo's independence, which, he says, should have been recognised earlier.
For me, Kosovo should have been recognised as a state so far. Now our colleagues will be angry and our efforts to do so [the recognition of Kosovo's independence] have brought only problems within Bosnia and Herzegovina, but has not helped Kosovo”, Izetbegovic said in an interview with Deutsche Welle.
For the direct question whether Bosnia and Herzegovina will recognise Kosovo's independence, Izetbegovic briefly said: “Po”.
Bosniaks' leader in Bosnia and Herzegovina shows that he has good relations with all political leaders in Sandzak, but also, he said he is not satisfied with the situation of Bosniaks in Serbia, says Insander.
He demanded that Serbia give up its athletic stance on Sandzak.
