American President Donald Trump's daughter and adviser Ivanka said at a summit in Tokyo that sexual harassment by women should not be tolerated.
It has also called for support of equal participation in economic “sectors traditionally dominated by men”.
Her father, the American president, has been charged by some women with harassment and sexual assault, charges that have all been dismissed by the president's representatives.
Charges of harassment during beauty contests against the president were raised during the time he ran for president.
When asked last week about these claims against the American president, White House Press Secretary Sarah Saunders said all women who accuse Trump lie.
Working as her father's adviser, Ivanka has made the issue of women one of her key policies since joining the White House. Her trip to Japan preceded President Donald Trump's first Asian tour of Japan on Sunday.
