German boxer Manuel Charr has triumphed against rival Alexander Usinov of Russia with the unanimous decision of judges and has won the world champion's title in the heavy category, in the WBA association.

With this victory, Lebanon-born boxer Charr became the first German to win the champion title in the heavy category after Max Schmeding, who was champion in 1930-1932, writes rel.
Manuel Charr, 33, arrived in Germany in 1989 as a refugee. So far he's won 31 duels, and he's lost only four.
His rival last night, 40-year-old Usinov, known as “the Great Alexander”, has won 34 duels, while suffering only two defeats.
