Awakening early in the morning has many health benefits. It enables you to go to bed early in the evening and to comply with your biological rhythm. It also gives you more time available to use to exercise, fulfill your remaining obligations, or relax.
However, there is a habit that can disrupt this morning balance, and this habit is drinking coffee in the morning, or once you wake up. According to results of research published in “Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism”, the body in the morning stimulates the production of cortisol, a stress hormone responsible for the wake-up.
If you enter caffeine simultaneously, your body will start producing more cortisol, which can cause excessive stress at the beginning of the day. According to experts, there is no need to drink coffee at a time when the body wakes itself in a completely natural way. After a while you can develop tolerance for the same amount of coffee. In other words, a cup of coffee after a while may seem very few.
If you wake up at about 8: 00 a.m., the level of cortisol will begin to decline between 9 and 11. Then it's the ideal time to have a cup of coffee. So if you want to optimize coffee, don't drink it as soon as you wake up. The morning begins with a slight extension and deep breathing. If you drink something warm and refreshing, drink a glass of warm water with honey and lemon.
