The head of the State Commission for Demarcation with Montenegro, Speed Bulqi, in his report to the Commission for European Integration, has said they are working in the form of duties given to the Haradinaj government.
During his report, Bulqi has voiced fierce criticism of the former Commission led by Murat Meha, saying that the Commission has violated competencies, since, according to him, it has marked a new border line, which is prohibited by law, he said, Periscopi.
During our pump over this month and a half has been the work on the ground that we've done: researching materials in different institutions in and out of the country and proving on the ground to get the problem cleared up. The seriousness of this issue is at the highest possible level, is being worked seriously, is being done rationally. From what we find from the work of the former Commission that has happened between Kosovo and Montenegro, the Commission that was formed has had a completely different legal base. The base has been an internal law, not an international agreement”, Bulliqi said.
The “Commission has exceeded its competencies, was founded with only one task; demarcation of the border, and in no form setting a new border line in practice, which unfortunately, the final result has resulted in a new border line between Kosovo and Montenegro”, he has said. /Periscopi/
