Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha has addressed a series of criticisms against Prime Minister Edi Rama, saying his government is involved in crime and captured by crime.
He has said Edi Rama is the only prime minister the option for citizens has violence, pressure and prison, while defence, care and conveniences are for traffickers with whom he gains and shares power.
“Today, his crime state has spread out on thousands of pages of Italian justice. A state that works fully in the service of traffickers. A country where the interior minister is the big gang chief. A state where Rama himself stands in the way of justice by defending Tahiri while preparing guillotine for the poor who are unable to pay for water”, Basha has indicated.
He has criticised Rama for threatening to jail those who can't even make ends meet, while oligarchs associated with the government continue with tremendous abuses of the energy bill.
“A responsible prime minister would direct investments that open jobs, lower business taxes, increase paying for households in economic aid, and through the state budget, would take over the bill of energy and water for households in economic instability. And this would be the state for citizens. But the state of Eddie Rama is all in his service and his criminals. He steps on citizens, he doesn't need citizens. Rama's state is steeped in crime and seized by crime”, the DP leader has stressed.
