Most of you are already familiar with antibiotics as they are among the most widely used medications for treating various health problems.
But if your doctor described an antibiotic to treat the urinary infection that is tormenting you from time to time, there are some things you shouldn't do, since misusing them can provoke various problems.
1. You shouldn't take contraception: Most antibiotics have harmful reactions in their bodies when they join hormonal contraceptives. In this case, try another way of protecting your pregnancy until you finish antibiotics. Gynecologists recommend that you resume your defense a week after you have finished antibiotics.
2. You shouldn't mix alcohol with antibiotics: Alcohol does not reduce the effectiveness of most antibiotics, but it can reduce your energy and delay recovery. Alcohol and antibiotics can cause stomachaches, dizziness and drowsiness, headaches, vomitings, rapid heartbeats, and so on.
3. Never drink them before. Antibiotics are always after meals because they thus avoid stomach pains.
