Since January this year until the end of October, 92 traffic accidents with fatal consequences have been recorded in Kosovo, while persons who have changed their lives as a result of these accidents are 103.
If we compare this period to last year, then the number of fatal accidents and dead persons has increased.
By 2016 92 people had changed their lives from January to October, and fatal accidents had registered 82.
This has been announced by the official Information Index to the Kosovo Police, Daut Hoxha, who has shown that one causer of death in communications is overcoming speed.

Police appeal to all drivers to take greater care of vehicle management, especially now when it comes to changes in weather conditions, setbacks, and reduced visibility in the streets.
The police appeal to all drivers to take greater care along the direction of vehicles, especially now when it comes to changing weather conditions, cooling down, and reducing visibility on the streets. Because it's the drivers themselves who can contribute to the reduction of accidents, and in particular they're posing a huge concern”, Hoxha said.
According to him, the largest number of accidents are self-accidents, while the largest number of dead are drivers.
According to statistics, in the January-September period of 84 fatal accidents, 26 fatal accidents have been self-excident. Of the 95 people who lost their lives in traffic accidents 40 or 42.1 percent have been drivers.
Otherwise, five fatal accidents have occurred during November.
