Authorities in one Turkish town have introduced pink-coloured buses that will be available only to women. It was meant to protect women from rape, but such a thing was not welcomed by all.
These buses, which allow only women travelers, have begun to circulate in the city of Malatia. Men aren't allowed on these buses.
And the women of this city have differing views of this change.
Some have liked this initiative, saying they do not want to be in close surroundings with men and listen to their vulgar conversations, while others have said it is an insult to women.
These buses came after the <x0vangos pink” appeared in the Stock Exchange in Turkey.
This practice was initiated in 2012 by a branch of Muslim party conservative women, while the first - time existence of this idea took place in the Urfa province of 2015, writes Metro newspaper.
