Dressed in white, women joined in seeking a political solution to the conflict that has divided the two communities for decades.

They also demanded that women have an equal right to peace talks.
“We are women of the right, left, Jewish and Arab, of the cities and the suburbs, and we have decided that we will stop the next fight”, said Marilyn Smadja, one of the founders of the organising group, “Emen Eye Peace Chamber”.
Their march lasted two weeks and culminated in an umbrella of reconciliation where women and children drew up signs that read “the peace money whether above you” in Arabic and Hebrew.

The tent was appointed to Hagar and Sarah, mothers of the writings of Ishmael and Isaac, the half brother patriarchs of Muslims and Jews.
