The Independent Union of the Kosovo Private Sector together with representatives of technical workers of six Pristina municipality schools have made a decision to continue the strike until they receive their salaries.
Kosovo Independent Private Sector Trade Union Chairman Yusuf Azemi told the alarming state of the chief technical workers is the Government of Kosovo, which has not seen the means at the Pristina municipality.
Azem supporting technical workers has indicated that they will not continue to work unless wages are received and the law and collective agreements are implemented.
“We for this quagmire of the situation what we are, the main blame according to official information is the Government of Kosovo for which it has not been delivered to the municipality of Pristina and the Pristina municipality to dedicate money to the company and to the company to escort it to the workers. We where we are organised have made known that we will not work for a second at any school, in any company if salaries are not implemented and collective law and agreement”, Azemi said.
He also said that for the heads of state, they do not need absolution until those serving them have a barrier to absolution.
“Prime Minister, head of state, prime minister and all other institutions, as well as the mayor of the Pristina municipality, means they do not need tools because there is never being an obstacle to vehicle aloation. It means for those whom we serve there are no obstacles to access for us, he said.
He said the workers' situation is terrible, as they also have loans and the bank is sanctioning them for not paying installments.
Meanwhile, Pristina's six schools technical representative, Milaim Sopi, has declared that they will continue the strike until they receive their salaries for months left without paying.
He also said they don't care about the guilty, but they only care about taking their wages and paying the credit to the bank.
We're on strike and we're on strike until we get our salaries, we're not actually interested in who the guilty is, we're just interested in our wages, we're just taking our wages, paying off the loans we have in our banks and nothing else”, he said.
He said problems for their salaries have also had for August, where they were forced to organise strikes to achieve their goal of receiving salaries.
Otherwise, 74 technical workers from six Pristina municipality primary schools have again entered the strike because of not receiving their salaries for August and September.
