He in his Facebook account has expressed concern for poor security in the country's north and the serious economic situation that has engulfed this part of Kosovo.
Azem also wrote that Pristina should be present for its residents, just as Belgrade is interested in residents of northern Mitrovica.

The brothers and sisters of the north after your request to call a gathering tonight made me proud to have my call unifying us with your mass presence as we know to be together. You trusted me and I will give your voice back with dignity. This is only the beginning because when Belgrade is 400km away it is present to Serb residents and Pristina will be present for us. We will no longer be silent for security and unemployment. In the next few days, we'll have an appointment for reconstruction. I invite you to join the protest as many as possible to show the opinion of the institutions that we are here and do not give up on any challenge. In this case, I thank our friend Mentor Boja for supporting”, he wrote Azem. /
