(9 years ago)Minister of Internal Affairs Flamur Sefaj has hosted the Kosovo Police Union Chairman Valbona Kamberi Hoxha, who offered co-operation with the union of police. Sefaj noted it is important that, in the framework of the Kosovo Police's capacity building, [to] be co-ordinated.
Sefaj noted that it is important to co-ordinate co-operation with social police representatives, who consistently engage in improving conditions for Kosovo Police members, within the construction of the capacity of Kosovo Police.
At this meeting, members of the Police Union announced Minister Sefaj with challenges awaiting the Kosovo Police and highlighted their demands, related to health insurance, as well as the Law on Retirement of Kosovo Police Officials.
In this case, Minister Sefaj expressed his readiness to improve conditions for police members and stressed that the law on retirement of police officials is already in its final stages before being sent to Government and Parliament.
