The Central Election Commission announced final results for the heads of local Elections municipalities, which were held on October 22nd 2017.
Based on these results, CEC head Valdete Daka announced that the second round of the Assembly for Mayors of the Comuns will be held on November 19th in 19th in Pristina, Prizren, Znjian, Dragash, Istog, Kacanik, Kline, Kamenica, South Mitrovica, Obilic, Rahovec, Pristina, Prizren, Suharke, Ferizaj, Vushtry, Malishev and Kello.
Speaker Daka announced that the CEC announced these results after confirmations received by the Electoral Panel for Ances and Parashtes, as well as by the Supreme Court.
The number of citizens rightly voted in this round is 1 million and 353 thousand and 613 voters, while the number of polling stations is 614 with a total of 1 thousand and 777 countries.
LDK candidate Gazmend Muhharrier eventually turns out to have won the race without a run-off in Pec. He has secured a total of 22014 votes, or 50.23 per cent, leaving Fatmir Gashi and AAK behind with 13980 votes or 31.9 per cent.
According to the final results, Sabiha Shala of the PDK has won 4105 votes, or 9.37 per cent, the Vetvendosje Movement's Nubono Union has secured 2822 votes or 6.44 per cent. Other Canidas Sali Kelmendi (Nisma), Reshat Nurbo (Alernative), and Eneida Kelmendi (The Word) have received less than 1 percent of the Votive in Pec.
