Authorities say at least 59 have died and 527 have been injured after 64-year-old Stephen Paddock opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel, Periscope broadcast “Daily Mail”.
But the number of victims could have been much higher if some courageous individuals who helped the wounded were not present.
From a fireman who was shot in the first aid to a woman of plaogusr, a man who saved his friend from bleeding to stealing a truck to transport victims to hospital this is the story of civilians who became heroes of the night.

Sonny Melton, 29, a nurse from Tennessee, was one of the first appointed victims and one of the first identified heroes.
Kurt is a very devoted family man. Good father, good husband “, Bunn said one of the people he helped save lives.

Whatever he does is oriented around his wife and children. Good fireman. He's liked here. He is one of our brothers, and we are doing our utmost to support him and his family”, said a relative of his.
I took my cousin's friends not too far. One of them, a fireman named Steve Key, bleeding, addressed Brown with these words “Yes, I was shot”, Brown said.

Lindsey Padgett said that “immediately the noise of the shots spread, she and his fiancé, Mike Jay, went to get her truck in a parking lot to help the wounded”.
The couple filled the truck with five injured victims and five others who were caring for the wounded.
We were just trying to get people to the hospital. We were halfway, and as we went to the highway, I saw an ambulance stopped, so we went and started taking the most critical people and putting them in the ambulance”, Padgett said./Periscopi/
