Haradinaj discusses with American companies the possibility of increased investments

The prime minister, Ramush Haradinaj, hosted the largest American companies operating in Kosovo and being under the umbrella of the American Economic Ode in Kosovo.

These companies and their representatives, offer employment for about 25 thousand Kosovo employees and have annual circulation of 2.5 billion euros, the Prime Minister's Office reports.

Haradinaj has praised the initiative of the American Economic Ode in Kosovo, which is also a member of the European Council of American Economics, and which offers a direct, growing relationship of American small and medium-sized businesses as well as European ones.

Some of the main topics under which the road to economic development, new investments, as well as budgetary growth were discussed: functional and reliable judiciary, the establishment of human capacities, production protection, quality control in all products, initiatives for legal reform in various areas, as well as the need for sustainable electricity security in Kosovo.

At the meeting, compliance was achieved that the establishment of the Ministry of Innovation and Undertaking was very necessary, offering Kosovo youth the opportunity to be part of development as the rest of the world.

The American Economic Oda handed Prime Minister Haradinaj a document with concrete recommendations for private sector development in Kosovo.

The prime minister has thanked the American Chamber for their initiative and stressed that he will focus on encouraging trade and production, as well as investments. The prime minister invited them for further partnership and provided full support for him.
