Kosovo Hospital Service General Director Basri Sejdiu's duty to the University Clinic of Kosovo, has visited the Infectious Clinic to get to know the situation closely after reporting this clinic on new cases reported measles.
At a meeting with the director and chief nurse of this clinic, Naser Rrustemi, he was informed of the number of cases treated so far and of the measures this clinic has taken to manage the situation.
Hamdi Ramadani, director of this clinic, reported that currently 36 measurable cases are being handled in this clinic, of which 4 are more complicated, while 75 other cases after receiving medical assistance, after treatment has been released home.
According to him, patients are of different ages, ranging from babies to 40 years of age.
The chief general's duty is to thank staff for the work and commitment shown to provide health assistance to the cases presented.
He promised to engage together with the board of directors and the Ministry of Health to improve the situation, whether in terms of supplies of drugs and spending material, but also in infrastructure and necessary equipment. /Telegraphy/
