Lushtaku has said these statements do not last and that they are for political consumption because of the election campaign, writes Indexline.
The statements that health insurance money has been taken to pay veterans' salaries do not last. It's just statements about daily political consumption, although we're still in election campaign and with actions like this trying to win any political points. The Ministry of Finance has given its reasoning and as a member of the Commission for Boards and Finance on the part of the PDK supports such an attitude as completely reasonable, because we cannot put the finance ministry into obligations and penalties further for failing to carry out the salaries for veterans they are entitled to. Meanwhile, when underground health insurance acts are approved, the budget will be planned to conform to those acts” Lushtaku has said.
Lushtaku has further said that the label being made to KLA veterans as militant is an objective of war values and a destructive approach.
“Actions and populist statements only create unnecessary obstacles and delays in advancing processes the government is in charge of implementing. Then, labelling KLA veterans as militants is meeting the values of war and a destructive approach in relation to people who have made their contribution to the Kosovo war, which has come from all Kosovo Albanian parties without exception” has ended Lushtaku.
